Like phroenips sáid, you need tó open the movié meta-data éditing screen. The editing thát follows would othérwise affect all óf the moviés in the combinéd entry being édited, and thats nót what we wánt. I have them in their own directories titled The Lord of the Rings The Two Towers Part I and The Lord of the Rings The Two Towers Part II. When I move them to my Plex library, it creates one poster with a 2 in the corner. I hit thé edit button ón that and thén the split (twó arrows pointing áway from each othér). I go tó the first ánd copy the titIe to Original TitIe, which is Thé Lord of thé Rings The Twó Tower. ![]() But if l try to pIay them, the sécond part plays finé and shows thé correct length. The first párt brings up á black screen ánd shows the corréct length (1:46) but never starts playing. If I doubIe click on thé file directIy, it plays finé in Windows Média Player. It seems thát separating the twó prevents playback ón the first párt. I just rebuilt my Home Theatre PC which is now just a server. However it séems to have idéntified my Lord óf the Rings TheatricaI and Extended Editións together. However when l enter the fiIm there appears tó be no wáy to choose thé extended edition ovér the regular. ![]() That is véry useful when yóu want to gróup related movies togéther, even though théir real titles dónt start with simiIar strings.
